Welcome

Torquay Judokwai is a friendly BJA registered club, catering for all levels of experience, from complete beginners to those with many years of training under their black belts. The club is run by former Devon County Judo Association squad coach Simon Ward who is a BJA Level 3 Coach and professional Schools Judo Coach for Local Education Authorities.

 

Torquay Judokwai is fully affiliated to the National Governing Body for Judo in Great Britain and the British Judo Association. All of our coaches are qualified within the British Judo Association coaching structure. All our coaches are CRB checked and are fully qualified first aiders. The club is also working towards the Sport England Club Mark award for its safe and effective organisation.
